Mah Jongg is a rummy-like strategy game played with tiles. Instructor Sylvia Taflove will cover the basics of the card, suits, tiles, and rules of play. Each session will include supervised play. 

Lots of LEGO® bricks will be available so come ready with your imagination!

Charles Bethea from the Chicago History Museum will discuss Juneteenth, our country’s second independence day. Although it has long been celebrated in the African American community, this monumental event remains unknown to many Americans.

Drop in for camaraderie and creativity as we make free form, mixed media journal entries.  Supplies provided!

Join us for open-ended play! We will have a variety of toys available for your little one to play with.

Explore art and creativity with hands-on projects for little ones. Smocks will be provided for messy fun, but we recommend wearing clothes that can get a little dirty.

Canasta is a rummy-type card game.  Instructor Sylvia Taflove will teach canasta lessons.  Each session will include supervised play. 

Celebrate Summer Reading with the Winnetka Weeders Garden Club as they present a nature-based storytime and craft. 

The program will be held in the Winnetka Weeders Memorial Garden, weather permitting.
