Program Description

Event Details

Spanning 400 years, this performance will highlight African American music through slavery, Reconstruction, Jim Crow, the Civil Rights Movement, and various moments of societal change. This journey has seemingly meandered, but the musical course has been true and steadfast. To hear these disparate-but-unified voices, please join Clarence Goodman for his multimedia concert.
