Owning a home takes a lot of time, money, and energy, so not only is it important to be educated about the process, but also about home ownership. This course covers what a lender looks for in a loan application, credit basics, down payments, and the players in the home buying process.

This is one of a collaborative series of virtual events presented by BIG (Business Interest Group) and co-sponsored by 23 public libraries in the Chicago area for Financial Fitness 2026.
