Event Details
Almost since the beginning of cinema, filmmakers have adapted novels, plays, and even non-fiction works into motion pictures. Yet, the audiences and critics alike frequently complain that the resulting movies aren't as good as their original literary sources. Film professor, Zbigniew Banas, will address the main challenges involved in the process of adaptation and will examine why certain film versions work well, while others fail to meet expectations.
