Winnetka Library Space & Safety Enhancements

From May 27–June 13 the Youth Services Department will be closed while we replace the flooring and relocate the service desk.

A temporary play area with limited toys and books will be available in the Lloyd Room. For the full library experience—events, collection browsing, and a larger play area—patrons are encouraged to visit our Northfield location.

Local author and former Army Captain Carrie Hoza will discuss her new book about her experiences when deployed to the Sunni Triangle in Iraq from 2004-05 and the story of her platoon’s survival, courage, and resilience. Captain Hoza received the Bronze Star Medal for leadership and service.
