Art Deco is an architectural style that’s all about streamlined surfaces, linear and geometric shapes, symmetry, and a dose of glamour. The Art Deco era came roaring into Chicago during the 1920s. Let’s walk through the details and development of Chicago’s Art Deco masterpieces such as The Board of Trade Building, The Lyric Opera House, The Adler Planetarium, The Merchandise Mart and many more.
