Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a walk and time to enjoy our native trees.  Lynn Zaransky, TreeKeeper with Openlands, and Gerald Savage, Chief White Winnebago, Ho-Chunk Nation Elder, will lead a tree identification walk.  We will ID trees and share Native American history and customs.  The program will begin with a short presentation in the Lloyd Room at the Winnetka Library before walking around the surrounding neighborhood.  Please dress for the weather.

This event is co-sponsored by Go Green Winnetka, the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District, and Openlands Treekeepers.
