The Youth Services Department will be temporarily closed while we replace the flooring and relocate the service desk.
A temporary play area with limited toys and books will be available in the Lloyd Room. For full library services—including events, a larger play area, and full collection access—we encourage you to visit our Northfield location.

Event Details

The Windy City has long been the backdrop to classic films, either as a setting depicted in a film or actually being portrayed through on-location productions. Join film historian Dr. Annette Bochenek for a discussion about classic films set in Chicago, the locations portrayed, and the influence of these depictions today. This program will include a multimedia presentation consisting of photos, video clips, and captivating stories.
